True Tesla Unicorn – P90D with Performance Plus Air Suspension & MCU2 Upgrade:

It is rare to find an end of year 2014 (virtually a 2015) P90D, in excellent condition, with less than 50k miles, free unlimited supercharging for life, free unlimited premium connectivity for life, as well as the Performance Plus Air Suspension.

This P90D has a November 22, 2014 production date (which any other automaker would call a 2015) and includes the Performance Plus Air Suspension (SU02). This was a showroom vehicle that I bought in late 2016, so the actual in service date is December 23, 2016 (hence the low miles). The 8-year battery and drive unit warranty is good until December 22, 2024.

MCU2 Infotainment Upgrade:
The only part of the car not in perfect condition is the instrument cluster display above the steering wheel. There are some bubbles under the screen (see picture), which is a very common issue (solely aesthetic, does not affect anything). Videos online show how to fix it yourself, but I have always preferred to have Tesla do everything on my car. My Tesla shop feels the best way to remedy this is to get the MCU2 Infotainment Upgrade Retrofit, which includes a new center display, instrument cluster, as well as other enhancements – see link for details ( I will pay to have my Tesla shop complete this upgrade before delivery, unless you would like to tackle it yourself or have your local Tesla shop do it for you – in which case I will take $1,500 off the sale price. As you look at other used Teslas, make sure you ask if this retrofit has been done – the instrument cluster will start to bubble if this upgrade (or the DIY steps) have not been completed.
